Becoming Jane on DVD

Delve into the life of a young Jane Austen with the movie Becoming Jane. If you are a Jane Austen fan you are sure to enjoy this fictional account of Jane's possible affair with a young Irishman. It stars Anne Hathaway of Devil Wears Prada fame as Jane Austen and James McAvoy who was in the King of Scotland as Thomas Lefroy with great performances by Julie Walters, James Cromwell and Maggie Smith. The story is about first impressions and the film's events may well have been Austen's inspiration to become a novelist.
