Wildcare Tasmania Nature Writing Prize
This wonderful prize for new nature writing offers the winner $5 000 plus airfares to Tasmania and a two-week residency in Tassie's great wilderness. It is an international literary prose competition in the genre of nature writing, open to entries in both fiction and non-fiction. Winners will be published in Island and WILDCARE Times. Entries must be between 2000 – 4000 words. I've entered this for the second time, this year... my fingers are crossed... I penned something on Far North Queensland and humans and sanctity and wilderness and preservation... and who knows what it all means...
